A short series of patterns in sequenced percussion, made from one-shot samples of household objects; bowls, cups, glasses and pots. I recorded the sounds on my iphone's voice memos, giving them a rough, noisy quality.

The sampler that these were made on permits the user to layer different time signatures, resulting in odd-sounding rhythms, as well as to fine-tune the sounds. This is the only music I had time to make during the first lockdown, at home with a one-year-old learning to walk, and it fittingly describes the manic feeling of that life, a contrast to the emptiness and quiet outside.
